IL (IL, IL) 13 March 2001 email from Kathy Velasquez provided the photo of Evert^8 Van Vickle and family and helpful information on
the names of the 6 children. Excerpt from the email......I believe there were only six children. I know that Jewell and Jude were the same person and Mack and Artie McKinley were the same. I have seen
the 1880, 1900, and 1910 census for them. ( I haven't seen the 1890 census--so it may have more information). Also, Evert^8 was spelled "Evert" in
all census records except 1850 (when he was 2) where it was spelled Everet. (As a result of this last statement I have changed the name from
Everett/Enoch to Evert^8. -jvw 9 October 2010 email from Connie Waite provided maiden name of Malta, her birth date, her parents names, and photo of Jewell's gravemarker with informaton on his vital statistics and WWI service. |
