Morgan (b. 10 May 1901, Vermilion County, IL) before 1921, Vermilion, IL, d/o John W. and Ollie [Collins] Morgan. Jewell is a WWI veteran having served as a cook with the 52nd Aero Squadron.

13 March 2001 email from Kathy Velasquez provided the photo of Evert^8 Van Vickle and family and helpful information on the names of the 6 children. Excerpt from the email......I believe there were only six children. I know that Jewell and Jude were the same person and Mack and Artie McKinley were the same. I have seen the 1880, 1900, and 1910 census for them. ( I haven't seen the 1890 census--so it may have more information). Also, Evert^8 was spelled "Evert" in all census records except 1850 (when he was 2) where it was spelled Everet. (As a result of this last statement I have changed the name from Everett/Enoch to Evert^8. -jvw
